Individuals who have made arrangements for the Settlement in their wills
are eligible to join the Harriett Vittum
Society. Named in honor of the Settlement's longest serving Head
Resident, the Harriett Vittum Society enables us to publicly recognize
and thank those who indicate a desire to support the Settlement's work
for years to come. Members are officially inducted at the annual
dinner in April and are invited to a dinner hosted by the Settlement's
Board Chair each year. Those who wish to remain anonymous may do
so.
Although bequests are the primary
way that donors support the Settlement on a long-term basis, the Settlement
is currently exploring additional planned giving options through Gift
Annuities. Information will be posted as it becomes available.
For more information on joining the
Harriett Vittum Society or remembering Northwestern University Settlement
